1) Combination of B6, B12 vitamins and folic acid has clinically tested effect in reduction of homocystein level and in fight against atherosclerosis. Homocystein je značně toxický a chemicky agresivní meziprodukt důležitého biochemického cyklu lidského Homocystein is a highly toxic and chemically aggressive inter-product of an important biochemical cycle which happens inside human cells. It is supposed to contribute substances vitally important for chemical processes in cells which are necessary for keeping the cells alive. An increased level of homocystein in blood represents a significant risk for many body organs. It is absolutely necessary to treat people with increased level of homocystein. Most problems are treated by folic acid along with B6 and B12 vitamins while the folic acid is the most important in the treatment, the two vitamins support the curing effect of the acid as enzyme cofactors. The mixture of folic acid and B6 and B12 vitamins stimulates systems which ensure the conversion of homocystein into harmless substances and its effect has been proved by a number of clinical studies.
